There is congestion in parts of Southampton today as traffic is turned away from a busy road due to a huge fire.
Cars and vehicles are being stopped and diverted or turned around as they come off the Northam Bridge into Bitterne.

Bitterne Road West is currently closed between Rampart Road and Bullar Road after the fire, which began at 5am on Sunday.
80 firefighters are on scene after the blaze involving multiple vehicles.
Traffic is heavy on Cobden Bridge, as traffic looks diversion routes to cross the River Itchen.

There is also heavy traffic on Bullar Road, Cobden Avenue, St Denys Road and Whitworth Crescent.
