Two Southampton men have been arrested after a man was seriously injured in an attack outside a pub.
Two men assaulted a man in his 30s in the car park outside The Kings Arms pub in Wallisdown Road, Bournemouth on Thursday evening, July 11.
The victim suffered serious injuries and had to be rushed to hospital.
However, Dorset Police would not confirm whether a weapon was used or where he was injured.
Meanwhile, officers arrested two men, 19 and 24 and both from Southampton, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
They remain in custody where they are being quizzed by officers.
Dorset Police were initially called to reports of a man causing damage at the pub, but would not say who did this.
Glass could be seen smashed and scattered in the car park next to a parked silver Audi A3 within a police cordon on Friday morning.
Also inside the police tape was a man’s clothes, including his shoes and green jacket, as well as a blood soaked white kitchen roll.
An officer was stationed outside the cordon all night and into the morning.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “Dorset Police received a report at 6.34pm on Thursday 11 July 2024 that a man was causing damage at The Kings Arms pub in Wallisdown Road in Bournemouth.
