A man has been arrested on suspicion of impersonating a police officer after reports a woman was grabbed by the throat.
Police say that have arrested a man following an incident in Gosport at 3.30am this morning.
The force received reports that a man had approached members of the public, purporting to be a police officer near the ferry terminal in High Street.
He was then said to have made demands of these people, grabbing one woman by the throat.

Another man reported being inappropriately touched on the buttocks by the same person.
Now a 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of impersonating a police constable, common assault and sexual assault.
