Wildern School has been forced to close after a water main burst outside the school.
The burst water main has restricted access to the school site in Hedge End, as well as leaving the secondary school without water.
The school confirmed Year 7 and 8 students would remain at home and access digitally, whilst a planned trip for Year 9 and 10 students to Paultons Park would go ahead as planned.

Informing students and parents on Facebook, a spokesperson for Wildern School said: “Wildern school is closed today due to a burst water main outside the school and therefore no water in school or access to the school site.
“Paultons Park trip will still go ahead as planned for Year 9 and 10.
“Year 7 and 8 students will remain home and access work on Google Classroom.”
They added: “We will update all parents via email later today.”
