My friend Carol and I were on the bus going up Warren Avenue towards Shirley. At the top of the traffic lights, there are four large billboards.

Over the years there have been various advertisements on them. Now for quite some time, they have been empty. They look an awful mess.

My friend said 'Wouldn’t it be better if they could be treated and painted? Then maybe some youngsters could do some graffiti on them.'

Obviously, some tasteful pictures would be rather nice to look at. Also, it would give these young people a positive project to do.  Just an idea to brighten up that corner.
