New Forest District Council reports an 81 per cent tenant satisfaction rating for its housing landlord services.
The figure is based on a Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) survey, implemented in April 2023.
The TSM, a national government standard, monitors social housing landlords on 22 different performance measures, including building safety, timely repairs and tenant engagement.
Results show 82.8 per cent of tenants express satisfaction with the repairs service and 84.7 per cent feel their homes are safe.
Cllr Steve Davies, Portfolio Holder for Housing and Homelessness, said: "This is the first year we have collected and presented this data, marking a significant step in transparency and engagement with our tenants. While the results are very encouraging, we are already focusing on areas needing improvement.
"I would encourage tenants who want to get involved with shaping housing services to contact our tenant engagement team. If you have 30 minutes or a few hours to spare there are many ways to get involved."
