A restaurant chain is opening at a brand-new site in Lymington.

Solento Lounge will open at 21 to 22b High Street, the former site of Barclays bank.

Owners are aiming for an opening date of August 29, but have said this could change if there are any delays with construction.

Posting on a new Facebook page, Solento Lounge said: “Lymington, we hope you're ready.

“Our informal cafe-bar will be open every day for long lazy breakfasts, sociable lunches and brunches, and relaxed dinner and drinks.

“We can't wait to meet you.”

Solento Lounge is the latest addition by Loungers, which operates more than 260 sites in England and Wales across three brands, Lounge, Cosy Club and Brightside.

The Lounge brand has established itself locally, with three in Southampton including Maritimo Lounge in Ocean Village.

Job opportunities for Solento Lounge are currently being advertised online.

Available roles include assistant manager, sous chef, kitchen team member, front of house supervisor, and bar and waiting team member.
