A young driver has been killed in a head-on collision with a truck on a busy Hampshire dual carriageway.
Police were called to the scene in Kings Worthy, just north of Winchester, shortly before 10pm on Friday, July 5.
Police said the Corsa driver - a 25-year-old man from Kings Worthy - had been travelling on the southbound side of the carriageway when he crossed the central reservation and collided with a pick-up truck on the northbound side.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services the driver of the Corsa was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: "As part of our investigation into the collision we would like to hear from anyone who may have been passing through the area around the time of the incident and saw what happened or the moments leading up to it.
"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage which could help us with our enquiries."
