Staff and residents at Hedge End's Snowdrop Place Care Home held a week-long fundraising event for Barchester’s Charitable Foundation.
Snowdrop Place, run by Barchester Healthcare, invited families and the community to join in fun sports activities.
Everyone helped raise money to support the Foundation's work.
Since 2000, the Foundation has been assisting older adults and those with disabilities or mental health issues by helping them connect with their communities.
Last year, it reached a £225,000 donation milestone, benefiting 160 small charities, groups, and 87 individuals.
The recent fun activities aim to further boost the Foundation’s funding for 2024.
Gemma Hicks, general manager at Snowdrop Place said: "We had the most wonderful week, it was so lovely to see everyone come together to take part and raise money for Barchester’s Charitable Foundation, it is a great charity that helps many people in need, particularly lonely older people, which is a cause very close to our hearts. Plus it’s good for our own wellbeing to move as much as we can. We want to say massive thanks to everyone involved, we all had so much fun and we helped raise vital funds into the bargain!"
