A centenarian who puts her long life down to dancing has celebrated her milestone birthday surrounded by family and friends.
Marjorie Barratt, who lives at Maypole Bupa Care Home in Hedge End, marked her 100th birthday with a tea party and opened her special card from The King.
She tucked into a Victoria sponge cake surrounded by balloons.

Majorie said: “It was so lovely to see my family and have a party. I’ve been made to feel very special.”
An avid reader, who has been known to get through a book a week, Marjorie puts her long life down to her twinkle toes.
She added: “I always loved dancing. My husband and I would always dance at family parties. My husband was always better than me!”
Marjorie was born in Spennymoor, County Durham. Mother to Steven, she was married for over 40 years to her beloved, Clifford.
She worked in retail for many years and has been a resident at Maypole for nearly four years.
