A prolific shoplifter who stole boxer shorts, Yankee Candles and makeup worth more than £2,000 has been jailed.
Martin Singh stole £2,268.29 worth of items from various shops at Westquay shopping centre.
Southampton Magistrates' Court heard how he took makeup, boxer shorts, candles, glasses and other clothing.
The offences occurred between January 26 and March 20 this year at M&S, Next, John Lewis, Yankee Candle, Specsavers and H&M.

The 47-year-old pleaded guilty to 11 counts of theft from a shop.
He was sentenced to 22 weeks in prison.
Magistrates' found that the offences are "so serious that only a custodial sentence can be justified".
Singh, of Southampton Street, Southampton, was also ordered to pay £944.38 in compensation.
