A traffic warning has been issued for Southampton as the final day of the Isle of Wight Festival gets underway.
Southampton City Council is warning motorists to plan their journey ahead of time with revellers expected to return from the island via Red Funnel sailings to Town Quay later today.
A spokesperson for Southampton Travel, the partnership between the city council and Balfour Beatty, said: "Please plan any journeys to the waterfront in advance."
The @IsleOfWightFest is coming to an end, and we are expecting the waterfront to be busy with people making their way home from the @RedFunnelFerry, please plan any journeys to the waterfront in advance. @SouthamptonCC

This is coupled with four cruise ships docked in the city this weekend.
Norwegian Prima, Arvia, Queen Anne and Queen Mary 2 all arrived this morning and are scheduled to depart this evening.
