Revellers enjoyed a party to celebrate the reopening of the Ship Inn, in Redbridge, Southampton, when these pictures were taken.
Regulars were snapped at the venue more than 16 years ago as the new owners launched an updated menu in the revamped pub.
The Old Redbridge Road drinking hole welcomed customers that day on May 15, 2008, just as it had welcomed customers for the majority of the time since opening in 1654.
Over the years the picturesque pub has been visited by royalty who enjoyed salmon fishing on the nearby River Test
In the days when the pub backed on to the old quayside, it was frequented by smugglers.
