A Millbrook play area has been transformed from a 'sorry state' into a vibrant play area for children and families in Southampton.
The new park has taken around three years to deliver after funding was secured in back in 2021.
Residents in Millbrook had been asking of ward councillors Jeremy Moulton and Steve Galton after the original was thought to be outdated and in disrepair.
The new play area is now open to residents and families to enjoy.

Ward councillor for Millbrook, Jeremy Moulton, said: "I am delighted the new play park is complete.
"Cllr Steve Galton and I bid for the funds back in 2021 and we have been pressing ever since for the work to be done.
"The old play park was in a real state and we are pleased the replacement is the sort of thing local families wanted."
