A speeder who was clocked at 70mph on the M3 has been ordered to pay almost £2,500 by the courts.
Matthew Brooks was driving a BMW on the M3 at Otterbourne when he was caught at 70mph.
A temporary 50mph speed restriction was in place at the time.
The 44-year-old was travelling southbound between junctions 11 and 12 when he was spotted by an automatic speed camera.

He pleaded guilty to a single count of exceeding a temporary speed restriction at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
The offence was committed on March 19, 2023, with Brooks appearing in court last month.
Brooks, of Old Turnpike, Fareham was banned from driving for six months and received a £1,666 fine.
He was also given four points on his licence and must pay £110 court costs plus a £666 surcharge.
This must be paid in full by June 27.
