Police are urging the owner of a burnt-out van in Hythe to get in touch after it was left abandoned on a playing field.
Residents in Hythe took to social media on Monday after finding a truck that had been set ablaze on the Navy Field on Shore Road.
The police have confirmed that the council have been contacted regarding recovery of the vehicle - which currently still remains at the playing field.

Officers are now asking the owner of the abandoned truck to get in touch with them.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We received a report of a burnt out van on the playing fields in Shore Road, Hythe, at about 7am on Monday 10 June.
"The council have been contacted regarding recovery of the vehicle.
"If this is your vehicle, please call 101 quoting reference 44240242923."
