A 35-year-old man has been charged after items including Jack Daniels Whiskey were stolen from shops in Eastleigh.
Laurence Benjamin Cuthbert, of no fixed abode, was arrested yesterday morning.
It followed shoplifting incidents at Tesco in the Swan Centre and Sainsbury's in Leigh Road.
During one incident at Sainsbury's on June 2 two bottles of Jack Daniels worth £54 were stolen.

The incidents happened between Sunday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 5.
Cuthbert was charged with six counts of theft.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court yesterday and was granted conditional bail.
He will next appear at court on Thursday, August 1.
