The following speeders have been sentenced at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

MATTHEW MCALLEN, 38, of Kensington Fields, Dibden Purlieu pleaded guilty to speeding after he was clocked at 35mph by manned speeding equipment on Beaulieu Road, Hythe. He was driving a Ford Focus on the 30mph road at the time. McAllen was fined £253 and received three points on his licence. He was ordered to pay £110 court costs and a £101 surcharge. 

ELZBIETA KAMINSKA, 62, of Parkville Road, Southampton admitted to exceeding a variable speed limit after she was caught by an automatic speed camera at 52mph on the M27. The speed limit at the time was 30mph. She was driving a Volkswagen westbound between junctions eight and seven near Hedge End when she was spotted. Kaminska was fined £120 and received six points on her licence. She was also ordered to pay £110 court costs and a £48 surcharge.

ARRON NORMAN, 34, of Francis Road, Langley pleaded guilty to speeding on the M27 westbound between junctions five and four near Eastleigh. He was driving an Audi when he was clocked at 99mph by an automatic speed camera. The national 70mph limit was in place at the time. He was fined £640 and received six points on his licence. Norman must also pay £110 court costs and a £256 surcharge. 

JOSHUA GEE, 36, of Tudor Close, Gosport admitted to speeding on the southbound A34 near Tufton. He was caught by manned speeding equipment at 107mph whilst riding a Kawasaki motorcycle. Gee was banned from driving for one week and received a £450 fine. He was ordered to pay £110 court costs and a £180 surcharge. 

EMILY MONTAGUE, 27, of Rose Hill, Waterlooville pleaded guilty to speeding on the M27 westbound between junctions eight and seven near Hedge End. She was driving an Audi when she was clocked at 89mph by an automatic speed camera. The national 70mph speed limit was in place at the time. Montague was fined £72 and received three points on her licence. She was ordered to pay £110 court costs and a £28 surcharge.
