Womble Bond Dickinson's Southampton office has partnered with Abby's Heroes, a children's cancer charity.
The law firm plans to assist the charity through fundraising, awareness efforts, pro bono support, and volunteering activities over the next two years.
This union forms part of WBD's responsible business strategy, targeting a positive impact on communities, environment, and people.
Nikki Powell, partner and CSR lead at WBD’s Southampton office, said: “We are delighted to announce Abby's Heroes as our new charity partner. The charity does amazing work to support children and families affected by cancer, and we are looking forward to working with them to make a difference."
Sally Randall, chief executive and founder of Abby's Heroes, said: "We are thrilled to have been chosen as WBD’s charity partner for the next two years. This is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness and funds for Abby's Heroes, which aims to help every single child and young adult who is diagnosed with cancer from across the South Coast and Wessex Region."
