Police have explained why they were called to a train station on Tuesday night.
Services at Totton station were disrupted due to a ‘police incident’.
Delays were seen across several services from the late afternoon to early evening.
Officers from British Transport Police has since confirmed a concern for welfare prompted the response.

A spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Totton railway station at 4.24pm on 28 May to reports of concern for welfare.
“Officers attended and a person was taken to a place of safety.”
Normal services resumed once the incident was resolved.
