Thrings Solicitor Sam Longmore receives the prestigious Junior Lawyer of the Year award at Hampshire Law Society Legal Awards.
Having started his legal career at Thrings' Romsey Office in 2018, Sam qualified as a solicitor just last year and now specialises in succession and tax within the firm's private client team.
The awards, held this year at the Macdonald Botley Park Hotel near Southampton, aimed to acknowledge exceptional individuals and firms in Hampshire's legal sector.
Also nominated from Thrings was partner Karen Perugini, who achieved a shortlist in the Lawyer of the Year category.
The Junior Lawyer category celebrates the extraordinary talent within the first five years of qualification, recognising their contributions to their firms and communities.
Sam said: "It’s an honour to have been named Hampshire’s Junior Lawyer of the Year and I’m very grateful to the firm for considering me worthy of being nominated. I want to thank the Hampshire Law Society for this award and for the fantastic night I and my colleagues had at the awards dinner."
Simon Holdsworth, Thrings managing partner, said: "We are absolutely thrilled for Sam who very much deserves this award and on behalf of the whole firm I want to congratulate him on this recognition. His commitment to his colleagues and clients is demonstrated on a daily basis and we are delighted to have him as part of the team."
