More than 600 Hampshire youngsters explored regional work opportunities at an interactive careers day sponsored by Barratt Developments.
The event, Get Inspired Southampton and New Forest 2024, took place at Southampton Guildhall on May 9.
Schoolchildren aged 11-16 from across the county took part in a variety of interactive activities, while also getting the chance to chat with local employers.
James Dunne, Barratt Developments managing director, said: "It’s extremely important that we work in tandem with the communities where we are building new homes, and by working closely with schools and careers events such as this, we can inspire the next generation of construction workers.
"EBP South’s Get Inspired events are a fantastic way to show young people the broad range of opportunities available to them. It’s been a real pleasure to offer our support for this event in Southampton and have the chance to meet and talk to so many inspiring youngsters."
