A Southampton speeder who was caught at almost double the speed limit on the M3 has been given points on his licence.
Alin Rebega was driving a Jaguar southbound on the M3 when he was clocked at 94mph.
He was caught by an automatic speed camera as he travelled between junctions 11 and 12 near Otterbourne.
A 50mph speed limit was in place at the time.
The incident happened on March 6, 2023.

Rebega of Greenlea Crescent, Southampton was found guilty in his absence of a single count of exceeding a temporary speed restriction on a motorway.
He received a £120 fine and six points on his licence at a hearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court on April 25.
The 46-year-old was also ordered to pay £110 court costs and a £48 surcharge.
This must be paid in full by May 23.
