A Southampton shoplifter has been jailed after he stole more than £400 worth of confectionary and chinos.
Zachary Lowe, 36, was jailed at Southampton Magistrates' Court for a crime spree spanning more than a month.
During four separate incidents, he stole a total of £424.45 worth of items including confectionary and chinos.
The offences took place between February 21 and March 30 this year at Marks and Spencer in Westquay Shopping Centre and a Southampton Co-Op store.

Lowe of Radcliffe Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to four counts of theft from a shop.
He also pleaded guilty to burglary at Co-Op in Bridge Road, Southampton and failing or refusing to provide a sample for a Class A drug test.
Magistrates decided that the offences were "so serious that only a custodial sentence can be justified".
He was jailed for three months.
