The Four Horseshoes pub in Nursling hosted a traditional maypole dance performed by the JM Dance Group during May Day celebrations.
The tradition, which dates back 2000 years, was enjoyed by everyone in the gardens with locals invited to take part in the event, on the same day as the village May Fair on the Recreation Ground.
The Four Horseshoes sponsored the JM maypole group last year and invited them to entertain its customers in what it is hoped will become an annual event.

The dance school has been part of the community for over three decades, producing scores of talented dancers, including Ben Wyatt who starred in last year's Britain's Got Talent.
Founder Jane Mackinnon, who recently retired, coached this year’s maypole troop.
She said: “The girls love the tradition of the maypole dance and were delighted to be back to entertain locals.”
General Manager at The Four Horseshoes, Adam Khalil, added: “We are really pleased to be able to support our neighbours and it was lovely to see them perform."
