Law firm Moore Barlow has raised more than £20,000 for Hampshire-based Oakhaven Hospice.
Oakhaven Hospice, staffed by dedicated teams of specialist nurses, doctors, and therapists, provides palliative and end-of-life care in the local community.
The charity assists those facing life-limiting illness and their loved ones, through easing physical symptoms and offering psychological, spiritual and social support.
Moore Barlow and especially their Lymington office has supported Oakhaven Hospice over the years, through financial contributions, participating in Oakhaven Business Club networking and sharing office spaces for events such as the Light Up A Life event, which takes place every December.
Naomi Wilkes, partner and private wealth solicitor at Moore Barlow, said: "We’re a very proud corporate partner of Oakhaven Hospice.
"They deliver wonderful work in the community, and it’s been a great pleasure to fundraise for them over the years.
"This year, we’re looking forward to hosting the August Business Club and Light up a Life VIP Reception in our boardroom."
Natalie Hutchins, corporate fundraising manager from Oakhaven Hospice, said: "It costs us £8 million every year to run our services with just an 11 per cent contribution from the NHS.
"Without the generous support of our community, including business partnerships with supporters like Moore Barlow, we would not be able to support those with a life-limiting illness and their families throughout the New Forest, Totton and Waterside area."
