An inquest has opened into the death of a Southampton man who passed away on a plane.
Philip Tarling, 72, from St Denys, was flying to South Africa on October 6 last year when he suddenly fell ill and died.
Opening an inquest into his death at Winchester Coroner's Court on Monday, April 15, chief area coroner Christopher Wilkinson said that the cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
A full inquest will be held in Winchester on April 28 next year.
