Dobbies Garden Centre in Cadnam is launching a fresh Afternoon Tea and Planting Experience for plant lovers and food enthusiasts.
The event, taking place on Saturday, April 13 and Saturday, April 20 at 3pm, combines interactive horticulture with a sumptuous afternoon tea for a 90-minute celebration of nature and nosh.
Attendees will be treated to three tiers of sweet and savoury delights, complimented by unlimited tea and coffee, with options to upgrade their beverages.
The menu includes a selection of freshly made finger sandwiches, Dobbies' renowned scones, and a tantalising variety of sweet confections.
Following the culinary indulgence, participants will partake in an interactive workshop, conducted by Dobbies’ experienced gardening squad.
The team will provide insightful tips on planting a pot from scratch. Attendees will be enabled to manifest their green thumb by planting their individual terracotta pots using seasonal bedding plants, hederas, and heathers.
Each participant gets to go home with a planter worth £30.
Adam Veysey, Dobbies’ head of food development, said: "We’ve only just launched our brand new afternoon tea options and it’s fantastic that we’re able to offer this with an exclusive and new planting event for our customers in Cadnam.
“We love creating a vibrant community at Dobbies where people of all ages and experiences can come together to give gardening a go, and having afternoon tea with a planning experience is the ideal combination.
"Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a beginner, everyone is welcome.”
