Bin and rubbish collection in Southampton
I hope that the binmen get used to being made to work their hours. Nobody else I know gets to knock off early.
Total respect to Labour council leader Lorna Fielker for telling the binmen they have to work the hours they get paid for.
Women nurses and teachers in our city regularly work over their contractual hours. So I don’t get why men on the bins are throwing a hissy fit for being made to do their job.
