AN inquest has opened after the death of a three-year-old child in Southampton more than a year ago.
Amy Makey, of Wharncliffe Road, was found dead at her home on December 29, 2022, at around 7am.
The inquest was opened at Winchester Coroners' Court yesterday (Monday, March 11).

Senior coroner Christopher Wilkinson said Amy was found unresponsive after suffering a cardiac arrest.
The cause was given as being unascertained.
The inquest at Winchester Coroners' Court was adjourned until March 4 next year while the police investigation into her death continues.
At the time, a Southampton woman, now 41, was arrested on suspicion of neglect and causing or allowing the death of a child.
She was originally released on conditional police bail until March 29, 2023.
But this has been extended three times as the investigation continues: once until June 29, 2023, then again until September 29, 2023, and then most recently until June 29, 2024.
At the time of Amy's death, neighbours said they were "devastated" and "overcome with sadness".

Alison Tudor, 56, said: “She was a lovely happy little girl, I'll always remember her curly hair and her big blue eyes.
"The last time I saw her was on Christmas Eve."
She added: "We wished them happy Christmas and a brilliant new year.
“When I read it in the Echo, it gave me goosebumps and all I thought was, 'oh my gosh that little girl'."
Another woman told the Daily Echo at the time: “I feel devastated.
“If I had seen anything I would have stepped in to help because that’s my nature, I love people.
“I’m mortified.”
