A Southampton man has been banned from the roads for drug driving.
Ryan Locke was driving a Mercedes C63 AMG with front window tints when he was stopped by police in Shirley High Street on February 1 2023.
Officers used a device to measure the amount of light passing through the windows. The figure recorded was 41 per cent - well below the legal minimum of 70 per cent.
Locke, 39, of Regents Park Road, also tested positive for cannabis.
He was charged with drug driving, driving without insurance, and driving a vehicle with insufficient transmission of light through the windows.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £1,210.
