She said: “This tree came down in front of me on Mansbridge Road. It’s on the bend by the train lights.”

Heavy rain saw Bartley Water in the New Forest burst its banks. This caused flooding in Bartley Park and into the New Forest at Ashurst Bridge.
Ferry services between Southampton and the Isle of Wight were also suspended until further notice due to the adverse weather.
A spokesperson for Red Funnel said: “We apologise for the inconvenience caused to your journey.”
The Met Office has issued two yellow warnings, for rain and wind, due to last until 9pm for most of England and Wales.

Trains from Southampton to London Waterloo were either delayed or cancelled in the evening.
South Western Railway issued a 'do not travel' warning- advising rail passengers to get taxis.
At least seven trees - and a roof - fell on tracks across its network.

"Disruption will affect all lines on the wider network. We’re sorry for the disruption this causes."
