This beachfront watering hole with stunning views has reopened following an extensive three-week refurbishment.
The Old Ship at Lee-On-The-Solent now boasts a brighter, more modern look following its transformation.
A refreshed bar, new soft furnishings and an enhanced dining area has given the pub a new lease of life, providing locals and visitors to the area with a relaxed, welcoming environment to enjoy their visit to the seaside.

Along with the updated look, The Old Ship has introduced an all-new food menu featuring delicious, freshly cooked dishes including The Goodfella Burger, crispy coated Halloumi Fries, Chinese-Style Pork Belly and the Classic Mixed Grill.
Commenting on the pub’s new look, general manager, John Harrison, said: “We’re thrilled to reveal The Old Ship’s new look to our guests. Whether you’re looking for a family meal out or somewhere to enjoy the sport with a pint, our pub is ready to welcome guests, both new and old, to enjoy our brand-new look — but with the same sizzle we’ve always had."
The family-friendly pub, just yards from the beach with stunning views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight at Marine Parade East, shows the best of live sport, and you can pre-book your table to get the comfiest seats in the house.
The Old Ship also hosts a popular quiz every Wednesday from 8pm, as well as poker nights on Thursdays from 8pm and bingo on Monday afternoons from 3pm.
Events in December will include a festive set menu, family experiences, Christmas Day opening, work parties and New Year's Eve celebrations.
The pub, part of the Sizzling Pubs and Grill group which also owns The Two Brothers at West End, is a real part of the community in Lee, proud to help fundraise for various charities and offer the function area free of charge to charities and community groups.
Staff describe themselves as 'a friendly bunch' who give 'the warmest of welcomes'.
Chefs strive to seek out the best quality fresh ingredients for their menus, which include vegan and vegetarian options, at fair prices.
