Firefighters released a woman who was ‘trapped inside’ a vehicle following a crash on Winchester Road that saw a Ford Focus end up on the bonnet of another car.
Firefighters, police, and an ambulance were all pictured at the scene.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, told the Echo: “Redbridge and Hightown crews were called to a road traffic collision in a car park on Winchester Road shortly before 3pm on Saturday, October 14.

“Firefighters worked to stabilise the vehicle before releasing a woman trapped inside who was passed to paramedics for assessment.
“Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service left the scene following the stop message at 3.18pm.”
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police had already confirmed that “no injuries were reported’, following the incident.
A fence appears to have been damaged in the incident as onlookers were pictured looking in amazement.
