Jeremy Clarkson has teased the return of The Grand Tour after posting an update on Instagram.
Clarkson posted a photo of him and fellow Grand Tour presenters Richard Hammond and James May standing in front of three cars with the caption - "Good to be back".
The post comes much to the delight of The Grand Tour fans after there were concerns it may be cancelled after Clarkson's heavily criticised newspaper column about Meghan Markle earlier this year.
James May said earlier this year, in an interview with Radio Times, that Prime Video had not cancelled the show due to Clarkson's comments but added it could be coming to a "natural end".
May said: "I mean, some people have said we've been cancelled. But really we're getting quite close to the end of our contract, but we didn't really have any particular plans to keep going because we're all really just getting a bit old.
"It might be time to let someone else have a crack at it."
Fans delighted as Jeremey Clarkson teases return of The Grand Tour
Clarkson posted a photo of him, May and Hammond on Instagram yesterday standing in front of three cars with the caption - "Good to be back" providing the biggest clue yet that The Grand Tour will be returning to Amazon Prime.
Fans took to Clarkson's post, commenting on just how happy they were to see the three back together and the prospect of more episodes of The Grand Tour.
One person said: "please never stop making TGT specials. My life is incomplete without y'all."
Another fan added: "You 3 together is just gold. Please never stop."
While a third person commented: "The boys are back!!! Oh I’ve missed you!!"
In between filming The Grand Tour trio is busy with other projects with Clarkson, for example, managing the Diddley Squat Farm.
All episodes of The Grand Tour are available now on Amazon Prime/Prime Video.
