Staff and locals at a Southampton pub have been enjoying a fundraising frenzy, with their first ever festival among a series of charity events this summer.
The Brass Monkey in Shirley played host to the inaugural Monkey Fest, as well as taking part in a charity car wash and even a sky dive.
More than £1400 has been raised for Southampton Hospitals Charity in just a month.

Monkey Fest began with a Pride event attended by stall holders selling personalised gifts, cakes and paella. After a huge downpour, the party moved inside for plenty of live entertainment from DJ SamC, Lucy Rachel & Callum Prior and popular drag act Miss Lightning, who stole the show.
The following day saw hook a duck, sponge throwing and other traditional games taking over the pub garden at a family fun day. Animal lovers enjoyed close encounters with snakes and lizards and The Strifes, a promising local band, entertained the audience.
The Lord Mayor of Southampton, Cllr Valerie Laurent, drew the raffle, including more than 60 prizes donted by business owners and members of the community, before enjoying a spot of karaoke.
The pub, on Shirley Road, also hosted a car wash event, putting a shine to 30 cars in just six hours.
One member of staff will finish off the fundraising by taking on a sky dive next week.
Laura Keenan, who runs the pub, told the Daily Echo: "The Brass Monkey is a busy pub in the heart of Shirley and we really do pride ourselves on the community atmosphere we have created."
Coming up, the pub is hosting several beastly bashes over Halloween. Drag act Wilma Fingadoo returns for an adults only Halloween party on October 28 with the kids enjoying their annual themed disco the following day. Baked by Danielle will also be bringing along her amazing cakes and treats.
The pub has seven big screen TVs for sporting events, regluar bingo, a resident DJ, live music and themed events.
