AN inquest has been opened after a man was found dead in his home.
Timothy Harris, 47, was found dead in his apartment on West End Road, Southampton, on May 29.
Senior coroner Christopher Wilkinson said that police attended the address as part of a welfare check requested by Mr Harris' ex-wife.

He was found dead at the scene, with officers reporting that they had found notes addressed to his family in the apartment.
The preliminary cause of death has been given as asphyxia.
Mr Wilkinson adjourned the inquest at Winchester Coroner's Court. A full inquest will be held on August 5 next year.
