FIREFIGHTERS have rescued four residents after a flat fire in Eastleigh.
Crews from Eastleigh, St Mary's, and Burley went to the scene following a third-floor lounge fire on Heinz Burt Close on Wednesday at around 9.30pm.
Two people were rescued from the building using ladders, and another two were led to safety by firefighters.

The crew battled the blaze wearing breathing apparatus and used hose reels and jets before ventilating the building to clear the smoke.
Officers confirmed there were no injuries, and paramedics from Southern Central Ambulance Service stood down.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service crews returned to their stations at around 11pm.
