NINE riders from Knightwood BMX Club are off to the BMX World Championships later this week.
Seven riders from the Chandlers Ford club will represent Team GB, while two will be wearing the colours of Team Brazil.
The event, in Glasgow from August 6 to 13, will include 2,378 riders from 41 countries, taking on the best the BMX world has to offer.

Amelie Eaton, the club's youngest qualifying member, will race in the girls 11s against 49 other competitors.
Amelie's Dad and a coach at the club, Matt Eaton will also be competing, racing in the Men 35 and over.
Twins Logan and Isla Young are both competing in their first world championships and have qualified for two categories each.
Other first time worlds riders are Bethan Cowley and Abdul El-Kindy.
Not to be outdone by the young guns, Keith Brown will be attending his third Worlds and will be racing 50 & Over Cruiser Men.
Mario Berno and Ricardo Santos will be riding for their home country Brazil, coming up against some of their usual teammates.
