A HAMPSHIRE theme park has topped the charts once again as the best-ranked themed park in England, according to users of Tripadvisor.

Paultons Park, the home of Peppa Pig World, took the top spot, based on Tripadvisor data like reviews, ratings, photos and popularity, as the reigning champion for the past eight years.

The family theme park, located near Ower on the edge of the New Forest, holds an average 4.5 rating out of 5 on the review site, across more than 10,000 live reviews.

Paultons Park also maintains an average 4.7 star ranking on Google Reviews, with more than 13,000 Google reviewers giving it five stars and placing it above all other UK theme parks.

The Tripadvisor title follows the Hampshire attraction being named the UK’s best value theme park, based on independent research which considered entry ticket price, queue times, parking fees, and number of attractions.

As visitors to Paultons Park can enjoy more than 70 rides and attractions, free parking, free entry for children under 1 metre, and some of the lowest ride queue times in the UK, they came out on top as offering the best value for money compared to all other UK attractions.

Paultons Park, which covers more than 140 acres, celebrated its 40th anniversary this year. The park now has five different themed lands, including the UK’s first Peppa Pig World, the Jurassic themed Lost Kingdom, the animal adventure world of Wild Lands, and children’s favourite Critter Creek.

The park’s latest themed world, the 1950’s Midwestern Americana themed Tornado Springs, opened in 2021 and features some of the park’s most thrilling rides, including Cyclonator and Storm Chaser.
