TWO horses have died in a fire involving a stable block and caravan.
The blaze broke out at a farm off Hospital Road in Shirrell Heath, near Wickham, on Saturday night.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that two horses were killed.
A spokesman said crews from five fire stations - Bishop's Waltham, Droxford, Eastleigh, Fareham and Wickham were mobilised shortly after 7pm.
He added: "Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used water jets to put the fire out. Crews also cooled and monitored an acetylne cylinder."
The stop message was received shortly just before 10.30pm.
