CHURCH bells across Southampton will toll 96 times today in a poignant mark of respect for Her Majesty.
In a tribute to the Queen's life, St Mary's Church and other churches across the city will be opening their doors to the public for prayer and reflection.
At 12pm, bells will toll 96 times to mark each year of Her Majesty’s life.
Children and staff of St Mary's primary school will be gathering on the grounds of St Mary's Church for the bell-ringing.
