So Relaxing Hot Tub Hire, based in West End, Southampton, has a whole host of tubs of all sizes to choose from and they make the perfect home treat for a special occasion.

The firm has just turned two and is going from strength to strength.

Owner Paul Constantine told the Daily Echo: “My wife wanted a hot tub and I said no way, but she bought one anyway!

“We were sitting in it one night and it was lovely. I have a history in sales customer service and car hire and I thought you know what this could work as a business.

“So off we went, getting trained in water treatment and promoting the business.

“Covid made our business. After being made redundant, I was looking to create a business or find something that was Covid proof. We do non contact deliveries and have delivered when people are at work. We just need access to the garden, water and power.

“We have multiple customers who have hired four times from us so far. It is easier than owning and maintaining your own tub.

“We started off in a global situation and now find ourselves in an economic crisis but people still need to live and celebrate. We can help and even though there is a cost implication on energy to running the tubs, you have got to live.

"It's all about the experience. As the name suggests, everything is designed for relaxation and enjoyment. From making the booking to delivery, set up, instructions and support, the customer is king.

Paul and his family support as many local charities and causes as possible through the business, particularly blue light workers after seeing how challenging the pandemic was for his paramedic brother.

So Relaxing Hot Tub Hire has supported the city's neonatal ward, cancer charities and even helped local people with terminal cancer enjoy their last days with a bucket list hot tub experience.

Kids parties have taken place in the tubs and numerous special occasions all year round have been celebrated with a weekend or week-long hire.

All hot tubs reach 40 degrees, but can be adjusted to suit.

A standard package includes hot tub, gazebo and LED lights, but sound systems, bottles of fizz, chocolates and more can be added.
