TWO men have been arrested after they were seen climbing onto the roof of a courthouse.
Yesterday evening a 35-year-old man and a 49-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
This came after reports to police of the men using a ladder to climb onto the roof of Fareham Magistrates’ Court.
The courthouse has been empty since it was closed in 2016.
Officers attended as well as a dog unit and a police helicopter that eventually located the men on the roof.
The men were brought down and have now been arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Their vehicles were also seized and both men are currently in custody.
