GUNWHARF Quays is set to be transformed this weekend into a gin-lovers' paradise, with the Gin Lounge Festival heading to the Plaza.
They're teaming up with the Gin Lounge, a band of gin enthusiasts, to put together a jolly, gin-filled interactive event to celebrate some of the world’s best gins as well as discovering some incredible gins distilled all over the south.
Over three days, attendees can enjoy tasting amazing gins, as well as masterclasses, demonstrations and all the best ‘ginanigans’ at an event not to be missed!

THE Romsey Show is back at Broadlands this Saturday.
The event is one of the largest one-day country shows in the South and is run by a large team of dedicated volunteers.
It provides a fantastic day out with something for all the family to enjoy.
In the President’s Ring, cheer on the thrill-seeking Stunt Riders, watch an exciting demonstration from the Remount Display Team and look to the sky for the magnificent Bremont Great War Display Team.

BRITAIN’S most popular soprano, Lesley Garrett, will share stories from her life on-stage at Theatre Royal Winchester this weekend.
An Audience with Lesley Garrett will see the opera star not only stun theatre-goers with her incomparable voice, but recall behind-the-scenes anecdotes from her long-standing career performing across the UK and the world, and releasing numerous albums.
Garrett will be accompanied by, and in conversation with, Anna Tilbrook – also a regular performer in Europe’s major concert halls and who coaches for the Royal Opera, in Covent Garden.

An interactive talk and presentation is to be held on various aspects of war memorials.

THE Watercress Line will open its stations this weekend so you can view current restoration projects at Ropley, as well as exploring the yard and the Engineering Shed and Carriage Shop Viewing Galleries.
