DRINKERS enjoyed sampling flavours of the south at an Eastleigh beer festival over the sunny bank holiday.
A total of 26 beers and nine ciders produced both locally and as far afield as Kent and Dorset were showcased at the event, which began on Friday and is being held at the Locomotive Engineers Club in Station Hill.
So far more than 100 people have turned out to the four-day festival, which included performances from Unhinged and Matt Rowe on Saturday and Sunday and will finish at 11pm tonight.
For anyone who fancies catching the end of the event and having ago at tasting what is on offer there will also be a disco as well as a karaoke from 3pm today.
Mark Benefield, the club's steward, said it was third year they had hosted the festival and he thought they were busier than the previous two years.
"We have had a very good response. People think it is fantastic. I am happy with the turn out so far," Mark added.
"One of the most popular drinks is the Palmers Brewery 200 because it is the highest percentage - it is also from Dorset so it is from a bit further afield. We have quite a few local beers and one from Kent as well."
