THE HOME of Hampshire cricket will once again become home to a zoo animal when the latest stampede hits the county.
The Ageas Bowl and the Hilton at the cricket ground are the latest businesses to ensure they are part of the public art extravaganza that it set to sweep across Hampshire next summer.
For ten weeks during the summer of 2016, a dazzle of Marwell’s Zany Zebras will gallop through the streets and parks of Southampton, creating a fun family trail to enjoy.
The icon cricket venue was home to Ronnie the rhino during the Go! Rhinos event in 2013, which proved a huge hit attracting thousands of visitors into Southampton.
Stuart Robertson, commercial director for the Ageas Bowl and Hilton, said: “We are delighted to be working with Marwell’s Zany Zebras and are very much looking forward to the trail coming to life in summer 2016. We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly venue and this was a project we couldn’t wait to get involved with.”
