TELEVISION presenter Piers Morgan has aimed a dig at a BBC Radio Solent journalist today over former Hampshire Cricket star Kevin Pietersen's exclusion from the England squad.
The celebrity took to Twitter in response to an earlier comment on the social media site by Solent sports editor Adam Blackmore, comparing the station to the fictional radio outfit from Alan Partridge comedies.
Mr Blackmore tweeted: "Yet again 5 Live talk to Piers Morgan - if it's not Arsenal it's Pietersen. Lowest common denominator - who gives a damn what he thinks?"
And Mr Morgan responded: "Was Radio Solent the one Alan Partridge washed up at?"

The ex-Daily Mirror editor has been very outspoken in his support of Pietersen's potential return to the England squad.
The star batsman was reportedly told by new England director of cricket Andrew Strauss he will not be picked for the upcoming New Zealand and Australia test series because of "trust issues".
