INSPECTORS have praised as outstanding the boarding facilities and services at Peter Symonds College in Winchester.
Ofsted also hailed the pastoral care of the 80 students, many from the Falkland Islands.
Inspectors noted the “very strong affiliation (students have) with the houses that they live in” as well as the “palpable sense of harmony within the (two) residential houses”.
Andy Pond, head of boarding, said: “I am really pleased that the report endorses the positive environment we offer to our boarding students.”
