SMITH Barry Sadly, passed away on 1st March 2023, aged 83 years. Reunited with his much-loved wife Marlene. He will be greatly missed by his son Ricky, daughter-in-law Pauline, grandchildren Craig and Rachael and great-grandchildren George, Phoebe and Amelie ---------------- The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday 21st March at Wessex Vale Crematorium at 12.15 p.m. Flowers accepted. I worked with Barry at Southampton Container Terminals as a crane driver until he retired.
He was a big character and a genuine lovely man and was missed when retired although only got to see him a couple of times after he left.
Such a shame to hear of his passing and I'm sure I can say for all of us in the A team old and new that he was a credit to the industry and his family.
